Yukatel DTM Racecar

Yukatel strengthens its presence in the DTM and will remain the main sponsor of Doerr Motorsport in 2026.

After entering the DTM last year, Yukatel GmbH is further expanding its motorsport involvement and will remain the main sponsor of Doerr Motorsport in 2026. The partnership will therefore continue, further strengthening its presence in one of Europe’s most important racing series.

With more than three decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, Yukatel stands for continuous growth and development. At its headquarters in Dreieich, the company has steadily expanded its activities and, alongside its core business, has been involved for years in various sports such as football, basketball, and tennis. Today, Yukatel is also firmly established in motorsport.

Further development at Doerr Motorsport.

For the 2026 season, the team has made targeted adjustments to optimize processes and further improve performance. Based on insights from the previous season, the focus is on more refined vehicle setup as well as overall more consistent performance. The modern McLaren 720S GT3 Evo continues to be used.

Visually as well, the team presents itself in a new look: the cars compete in a striking design featuring deep black with bold orange accents reminiscent of McLaren’s signature orange. Overall, the appearance feels more modern, more precise, and consistently focused on performance. The prominent placement of Yukatel on both cars further reinforces this strong overall presence.

Driver lineup 2026

The team relies on continuity in its driver lineup. With former Formula 1 driver Timo Glock and young driver Ben Dörr, the proven combination of experience and emerging talent remains in place. Both drivers will continue to be supported by Yukatel this season and form a well-coordinated duo for the upcoming races.

During the pre-season tests on 14 April 2026 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, the team was already able to set some positive early signs. Ben Dörr set the fastest lap of the day with a time of 1:28.199 minutes.

Start of the 2026 season

The opening round of the 2026 DTM season will take place on 24 April at the Red Bull Ring. With its existing structures and targeted further developments, the team feels well prepared for the new season.

Overall, the 2026 season builds on previous experience and consistently develops it further—providing the best conditions for another exciting and intense year of motorsport.
