Yukatel MBB becomes Yukatel Denizli Basket and makes its debut in the Basketball Champions League

A new chapter is beginning for us, together with our long-standing basketball partner. From our headquarters at the Yuka-Platz 1 we are supporting the Turkish top-flight basketball club and Basketball Champions League participantpreviously Yukatel MBB (Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Spor Kulübü), der mit dem Start in die Saison 2026/27 künftig unter dem Namen Yukatel Denizli Basket antritt.

With this name change, the club is emphasising its close ties to the city of Denizli and continuing the successful development of recent years under a new identity. Alongside the new name, the club unveiled a new crest, its new colours of green and black, and a new management team. In future, the team will compete in both the Turkish Basketball Süper Lig and the Basketball Champions League under the name Yukatel Denizli Basket antreten.

As for the Basketball Champions League, their first opponent has now been confirmed: Yukatel Denizli Basket will face German Bundesliga side RASTA Vechta on 15 September 2026 in the Basketball Champions League tournament in Samokov, Bulgaria. The match kicks off at 7.00 pm (CEST).

RASTA Vechta finished the regular season of the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga in the 2025/26 season in 7th place in the table and is therefore one of the established teams in German basketball. Basketball fans can look forward to an exciting clash between two ambitious sides. Tabellenplatz und zählt damit zu den etablierten Teams im deutschen Basketball. Basketballfans dürfen sich auf eine spannende Begegnung zweier ambitionierter Mannschaften freuen.

We have been supporting the club since the 2021/2022 season as its naming rights sponsor, as well as its main and shirt sponsor. Since the start of our partnership, we have consistently supported the club’s sporting development. With its new name, Yukatel Denizli Basket is continuing its successful journey in the Basketball Champions League.
