Business start-up
Yukatel GmbH was founded in 1995 by the current managing director Yusuf Karataş. In 2002, the company left the retail business and entered the mobile phone wholesale business. This resulted in a move to the 1,000 sqm office complex in Offenbach. With the start in mobile phone wholesale, the company continuously expanded its business areas and manages multilingual employees at the Offenbach location. In 2011, the company already recorded a turnover of EUR 70 million.
Over the years, new business areas and the own brands routecontrol, M2M Unity and NEXTwawi have also emerged. They offer innovative hardware and software solutions in the field of GPS telematics and M2M/IoT.

For over 20 years, the headquarters have been located at Merianstr. 23 in Offenbach am Main. In 2002, the company moved into the 1,000 sqm office complex in Offenbach, which it expanded to a total area of 5,000 sqm in 2014. And the growth continues.
True to the motto visionary plans and investments in the future, a new major project was tackled: a new building.
After many years of loyalty to the location, the space in Merianstrasse was unfortunately fully exhausted. Therefore, it was decided to realise a new building according to individual needs in Dreieich.
In addition to the idea of equipping the building with a lot of "work-life balance" and still being practice-oriented, the decision was also made to increase the number of employees to further MA and thus create new jobs. This means that the company is not only employee-focused, but also a real economic driver.

Innovation is written in capital letters - also in new areas: As Yukatel GmbH has steadily expanded and diversified over the past decades, another step is now coming: The merger of all brands and services from the areas of IoT, M2M and GPS live location under the umbrella brand YUKA.digital. This makes it easy for customers and partners to find all products and solutions under one name.

However, it is not only innovation that distinguishes the company, but also quality that is the focus. In 2016, Yukatel GmbH was already awarded as the best distributor. In 2018, the internationally renowned Handelot Award followed again in the categories "Best Partner in Europe", "Best Dropshipper" and "Best Distributer".

Sponsorship in Turkey is being expanded
Yukatel has held the naming rights to Turkish first division football club Yukatel Kayserispor since the 2021/22 Süper Lig season and is the club's main and shirt sponsor.
Expansion in the sports sector
Since the 2021/22 season, Yukatel has also held the naming rights to the Turkish Süper Lig basketball team Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket and is also the club's main and jersey sponsor.
