In April of this year, the internationally operating Yukatel GmbH will move into our new company headquarters at the entrance of Dreieich-Sprendlingen. Our building will be located at Yuka-Platz and bear the address Yuka-Platz 1, as unanimously decided by the city council in December 2023. We are pleased to have been able to unveil the new street sign on Offenbacher Straße on March 18.
Our new Yukatel headquarters is an architectural masterpiece that impresses with a height of 26 meters and a span of 90 meters. It comprises 15,000 square meters of office and warehouse space and boasts a modern glass façade that proudly bears our company logo.
Yukatel GmbH was founded in Offenbach in 1995. Since then, we have undergone an impressive development and specialized in the distribution and provision of services in the field of mobile devices.
In addition to our core business in mobile communications wholesale, we have successfully opened up new business areas that go beyond the traditional sale of mobile hardware. Under the umbrella of "YUKA.digital", we bundle all of our own brands that deal intensively with the topic of digitalization. This includes hardware and software solutions in the field of GPS telematics as well as technologies for data exchange and transfer in the context of "Machine to Machine" (M2M) and "Internet of Things" (IoT).
The relocation of our headquarters marks a significant milestone in our company's history and underlines the continuous growth and expansion of our company. Our new headquarters not only provides an outstanding working environment for our employees, but also symbolizes Yukatel's progress and future viability in a constantly evolving mobile communications industry. By moving from Offenbach to Dreieich, we are aiming, among other things, to increase our workforce and further strengthen our position in the market.
Mayor Martin Burlon emphasizes that our relocation is one of the most important settlements in recent years for Dreieich as a business location. As an internationally active company in the mobile communications industry with almost three decades of experience, we are not only setting an example in the region as a provider of products, system solutions and digital networking technologies, but also enriching the municipality's business portfolio with our range of companies and the associated opportunities.
